Everything was perfect ... apart from the heating was on full blast and we even had to brush our teeth with hot water !? Obviously a boiler problem, but the staff on reception weren't willing to communicate face to face the next morning, or by email since. Rude ! The fan in the room just blew dust everywhere. So just beware if you're visiting on an already hot day. Past reviews complained about cold water, let's hope they soon sort the issue

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Bed was comfy, had a good nights sleep. Only downside was the room was quite dark (no big light) and no refill of coffee for the following morning. Shower was nice and hot, lovely bathroom with good mirrors for getting ready. Good value for money.

I know there are lots of reviews talking about bad service and while not all of the staff are excellent I’d just like to say the two gentlemen (one from reception and one who came to help at the room) who sorted out a room move for me on the 5th of March were completely excellent and I couldn’t have asked for better service! They completely turned a stressful day around and were efficient and friendly!

Big room , not much noise , clean everything worked , not sure if I turned the heating down or it shut off , the room did feel a bit chilly . Soon warmed up when I turned it back up. Mini fridge in room . Breakfast was so so , but plenty of toast , and fruit etc to top up on . I did feel it fell short of what I would expect from a 4* . That said it was fine , prices also reasonable .

Great location at Gas St Basin makes it a short walk to Broad St/Brindley Place or the city centre. Rooms are comfortable with king size beds and air con. Stunning views across the North, West an South of the city from the restaurant, with an excellent breakfast.

The hotel is based over 2 floors with the restaurant above and what appears to be apartments underneath. The rooms are nice, comfy bed with a great view! Had a good deal on booking.com with breakfast included, which was really tasty and again, having near panoramic views at breakfast was great! They do cocktail deals and have a nice balcony with a view out over the city. No parking, if you use the Mailbox, book before arriving otherwise you will likely be charged extra. EG arrive at 1300, book parking and arrive at car park at 1320, you will be charged extra

Stayed here last night, it was lovely. Rooms where big, an amazing view of the city, comfy beds. Although the room was BOILING! My boyfriend was so hot he had to keep soaking himself with water and sitting infront of the fan just to be able to go to sleep. That was our only main issue the remote for the tv wasn’t the best but we made it work. No problems with staff they seemed nice. We spent most of our evening on the roof top bar, it was gorgeous, nice drinks also. Would definitely recommend but hot room does need to be sorted.

Beautifully decorated throughout, very clean. Great location, walking distance from city centre, reasonable car park down the road. Dinner was absolutely delicious, great atmosphere at the bar, breakfast was great. Unlike some of the reviews I have read I did not have any issues with the temperature in my room, it was fine.
